for me the course was really helpful. as i said before i haven't ever draw a lot in illustrator but know i know what can be done in this programm. for example i never used the pen tool, but i recognized that it is very helpful and the best way to paint! i think now i will use the program more to draw my own things and i really like it now.

i havn't already "draw" a lot in illustrator, i did more use it for making posters. but i'm really looking forward to learn how to make some nice illustrations like we have seen before, because until now i wasn't concerened a lot with these kind of pictures. sometimes i tried a little bit for myself, but this were just small things, like symbols or small monsters. i hope i will learn many helping tools and tips, that it would be much easier for me to paint/draw and illustrate different things.
